Unfortunately, because of my back pain, I was unable to do any celebrating.\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/pisarro.org\/aboutnick\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DSG_4326.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-968 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/pisarro.org\/aboutnick\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DSG_4326-300x256.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"256\" srcset=\"http:\/\/pisarro.org\/aboutnick\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DSG_4326-300x256.jpg 300w, http:\/\/pisarro.org\/aboutnick\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DSG_4326-768x656.jpg 768w, http:\/\/pisarro.org\/aboutnick\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/DSG_4326.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>One of Nick&#8217;s hobbies is gardening, so I suggested that he go to the Botanical Garden, <em>Orto botanico<\/em>.<!--more--> He enjoyed that, and he took many photos. Before he went, we had to call Anna and Francesco to cancel our plans to have dinner at their house.\u00a0We were all equally\u00a0disappointed. Having relatives come from America is as special to them as \u00a0visiting them in Palermo \u00a0is to us.<\/p>\n<p>I spent the day in bed with a\u00a0heat pack on my back, taking\u00a0my meds. Nick came back telling me he had found \u00a0a lovely trattoria nearby where he got pasta and a salad to take out.
