We awoke to a beautiful sunrise. The four of us had enjoyed our time with Tom and Marie so much that we took them up on their invitation to spend more time with them in the morning before we had to leave for the airport. Being with Tom and Marie was  so relaxing and comforting.

When it was time for us to leave, Marie gave us all sorts of snacks  to enjoy on the plane. We had no trouble driving to the airport, although finding the rental car return area was confusing. Then it was time for Nick, Carla  and me to say good-bye to Nicholas at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, and later, for Nick and me to say good-bye to Carla at JFK. Our vacation had been absolutely spectacular!
