Nick took one last photo from the bus on the way to the Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport.
Our departure from the airport in Rome to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol was uneventful, as was the departure from there to JFK. On that flight, we were offered a dinner choice of pasta or meatballs. Wasn’t that the choice we had been offered on our flight from JFK to Amsterdam, when our pilgrimage began?
We are filled with deep gratitude to Father Kumar for believing that the trip was possible, and to Nuovo Tours for making it happen. We are grateful to everyone who participated. The trip has enriched our lives!
